Remi Ski Club in Moonbeam will be closed this weekend due to the extreme cold.
Remi Ski CLub staff made the call this morning to MyKapuskasingNow to alert us that over the course of today, Saturday and Sunday the weather will be far too cold due to the recent extreme cold warning listed by Environment Canada.
Due to that, Operations Manager Norm Nadeau felt it best to close the ski hill over the weekend because of the weather and the possibly dangerous conditions.
Staff says the hill should return to its regular schedule come next week.
