Operation Red Nose successfully delivered over 450 rides throughout the past month.
That’s according to Coordinator Marie-Louise Groleau who says the final numbers for their month-long campaign are in.
Groleau says over their 10 nights of operation, they had 194 volunteers to make up 55 teams that provided 463 rides and a total of $12,018 raised in donations.
She says the amount in donations was amazing to see and will now be redistributed to three local youth organizations in Hearst.
The 2018 Operation Red Nose was the 21st edition in Hearst and the 35th overall nationally across Canada.
