Operation Red Nose continues to be a success.

According to Coordinator Marie-Louise Groleau, the weekend saw a continued growth in the usage of the service.

Groleau says after providing 69 safe rides home their first excursion with seven teams, they were able to stay consistent and provide 70 last weekend.

She then says this weekend saw the continued improvement and success of the campaign as they were able to provide 99 total rides to community members in need.

Groleau says the group is still looking for further volunteers to offer their services.

Anyone interested in joining and helping the Operation Red Nose cause can contact Groleau directly at (705) 372-5136 or can go to the Hearst Public Library to fill out their application.
