It is once again time for the annual TD Canada Trust Teddy Bear Toss in Kapuskasing.
The annual teddy bear toss will once again be fundraising for the Kapuskasing Food Bank.
Personal Bank Associate Caroline Boulay says toys thrown on the ice this Sunday will be given to the food bank to hand out to children and families all around town.
Boulay says the teddy bear toss has been ongoing for over a decade, and every year the community comes together and shows great participation.
TD staff has mentioned previously that they have accumulated over 100 teddy bears annually during the toss at Flyer games.
TD Canada Trust in Kapuskasing will also be accepting unwrapped toys and gifts at the bank from today until December 22nd.
The TD Canada Trust Bear Toss takes place this Sunday at the Kapuskasing Flyers and North Bay Trappers game which begins at 1:30pm.
