One woman’s generosity has again pushed the Hearst Hospital closer to a goal.

Notre-Dame Hospital recently accepted another donation, coming from Mrs. Doris Ermel, who so generously gifted $4,000 to the CT scan project.

Mrs. Ermel celebrated her 85th birthday in the month of October and says she asked for only one single gift from all of her guests, a small contribution towards the hospitals CT scan foundation.

She says the response from her guests was unbelievable, as through their generosity they collected the money to donate to the cause.

Notre-Dame Hospital staff says this is a wonderful gift for the community and its surrounding area, and wanted to wish a Happy Belated Birthday to Mrs. Ermel.
