A bake sale is being put on to help local families in need.
Northeastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services has announced that they are partnering up with Kapuskasing and District High School’s Care Club for a special Christmas Fundraiser.
Volunteer Coordinator Mireille Dubosq says as part of NEOFACS Christmas Angel Campaign a group of high school students from KDHS and NEOFACS volunteers will host a bake sale, craft sale and penny auction next week.
Dubosq says proceeds of the sale will be equally divided between the KDHS Care Club and NEOFACS’ Christmas Angel Campaign.
She says they want to invite all KDHS students to partake by bringing some money to purchase an item during that time.
The sale will run during the week of November 27th through 30th at KDHS.
