The strike is over in Hearst.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers called a 24-hour work stoppage beginning at 7:00am Friday and working itself until 7:00am Saturday morning as part of rotating work stoppages across the country.
The CUPW and Canada Post negotiating team members are still meeting through a mediator at this time.
As of now, postal service has gone back to its regular schedule of deliveries in Hearst.
