Kapuskasing’s very own haunted house did more than just scare folks this year.
According to Organizer of the Haunted House at 40 Gurney Road Angele Lambert, they also raised 255 pounds of food which was donated to the local food bank.
Lambert says they also were able to dish out 260 bags of candy to those who showed up to attend and enjoy their spooky spot.
She says a big thank you goes to everyone who helped out by either donating non-perishable food or candy, doing some makeup or simply being there.
