Kapuskasing is holding a town meeting to decide on the future of plastic bags in the community.
The town of Kapuskasing received a request from a concerned citizen regarding plastic bags earlier this summer, and now they are inviting the rest of the community to share their thoughts.
The request, made back in June, asked that plastic bags be banned from the community completely.
After receiving the request council met with key stakeholders to review and collect feedback.
Now, the opportunity comes for community members and major stakeholders to voice any concerns you may have and propose solutions for a successful implementation if council decides to ban plastic bags from the community.
The meeting goes Tuesday, November 6th at 6:00pm at the Civic Centre Auditorium.
