A fire has destroyed the Mattice Motel.
The Mattice-Val Cote Fire Department says Sunday a fire tore through the motel along Highway 11 in Mattice destroying the building.
They say the building was empty at the time of the blaze, and authorities are reporting that there were no injuries.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire, but immense damage was done to the building’s structure.
At this time there is no known cause for the fire.
