RockBox Raises $4,855 For Special Olympics Canada

Another successful CF/24 event has seen over $4,000 raised towards Special Olympics Canada.

Kapuskasing’s RockBox CrossFit saw another terrific turnout for the third consecutive year in which they have participated in the nationwide event.

Kapuskasing OPP Officer Wade Torok, Husband of Owner of RockBox Tania Torok, says they made the top ten of fundraisers for gyms across the country with their final total of $4,855 going to Special Olympics Canada.

Torok wanted to say a big thank you to their sponsors Chez Lizette for the amazing food, Tim Hortons for coffee and Timbits, Les Boys Sports Excellence and Yvon’s Home Hardware Building Centre for keeping them hydrated throughout the day.

As well as a special thank you to Jason Lacroix from Northern Family Chiropractic & Rehab for coming in to check and assess the athletes.

As well Torok wanted to wish a big heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated or dropped by during Saturday’s event.
