Smooth Rock Falls Celebrating Heritage Centre Grant Saturday

Smooth Rock Falls will celebrate its renovations to its Heritage Centre.

This weekend the town will come together as the Smooth Rock Falls Economic Development Corporation will host an event Saturday in order to celebrate the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s grant towards the project.

The Capital Grant approved back on March 1st for the Heritage Centre will deliver $134,900 over three months to help improve infrastructure, while renovating a community space that will host the arts, culture and heritage activities.

MPP for Mushkegowuk-James Bay Guy Bourgouin will be present as well as Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Review Team Member Ron Leduc.

The celebration of this grant will take place with a ribbon cutting ceremony from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Smooth Rock Falls Heritage Centre Saturday.
