NewsHearst OPP Arrest Man In Connection To Stolen Credit Cards SHARE ON: Nick Birnie, contributor, Thursday, Sep. 27th, 2018Police have arrested a man in connection with stolen credit cards.Members of the Hearst OPP responded to a theft on Cloutier Road South in Hearst last Thursday around 5:15am where credit cards and other items had been stolen from a car.Officers say their investigation showed their suspect had been using the credit cards at a number of different locations between Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls over the next few days.Police then located and arrested the 29-year-old man from Leduc, Alberta and laid 15 charges on him, including; possession of stolen property above $5,000, 12 counts of fraud under $5,000 and two counts of possession of stolen property below $5,000.The accused was scheduled to appear in Cochrane court.
