After two break-in incidents since last weekend, Dupont Courier-Taxi is now closed until further notice.
The Owner’s Partner Nancy Blier says that the taxi company will be closed until further notice due to the damages suffered from the two break-ins.
Blier says that originally on Saturday, September 15th they were broken into, but an arrest was made by police of a suspect in the act.
She says due to the quick arrest they did not publicize the break-in.
Now, Blier says that on Tuesday of this past week another break-in occurred, five separate Taxi van windows were damaged in the incident, while the inside of the Dupont Courier-Taxi company workplace was ransacked.
Currently, the OPP are investigating the incident and have no updates to pass along at this time.
There is also no timeline yet from the company on when they will return to servicing the area.
