“Well we are starting a soccer league in Smooth Rock Falls for kids with Autism from 5 to 18 years old, its just a start this year. We are going to be going from January 26th, Saturday nights from 1:00pm to 3:30pm to June 18th, and we will be at George Vanier Catholic School in Smooth Rock Falls.”

He says the organization is not for profit and will have specialized equipment for the kids.

“Not for profit, the registration fees this year is just $25, because we have to get specialized equipment. The soccer balls are different than normal soccer boys, they are like a big tennis balls, so kids don’t get hurt when they get kicked, and other things like shin pads.”

Roberts says he moved up north about 3 months ago from Windsor and wanted to bring his successful Autism Soccer league up with him, now he can’t wait to get started.

In order to register you can go either Sunday, October 14th or Sunday, October 21st to the Legion in Smooth Rock Falls, where which can be done in person, upstairs, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm either day.

The season kicks off Saturday, January 26th of 2019 and will run until June 22nd.
