A brother and sister from Smooth Rock Falls have each completed an amazing journey.
Stephanie and Mathieu Mercier have each made their triumphant returns from summer adventures through North America in order to raised funds for LGBTQ individuals through the Rainbow Railroad organization.
Rainbow Railroad is an organization which provides support for members of the LGBTQ community who live in countries where they are targeted by other individuals.
Stephanie’s journey took her on a hiking trip across the USA and back into Canada, while Mathieu’s journey took him over 5500 kilometres by bike in the course of 35 days.
Together, they helped to raise $2311 for Rainbow Railroad through donations, as they made their return home to Smooth Rock Falls.
