September will be Prostate Cancer Awareness month in Kapuskasing.
The town will make the focus of the month Prostate Cancer and the battle to raise funds and awareness on the subject.
CAO Guylain Baril says taking this step is the right thing to do, and he hopes the community will follow their lead.
“It’s the right thing to do, the noble thing to do, we all believe in these causes and I think if council stands behind one of those causes then perhaps the rest of the community will follow suit.”
September is also National Prostate Cancer Awareness month worldwide.
