Hearst Spending Over $13,000 Repairing Inovo Centre

Hearst will spend over $13,610 to repair their Inovo Centre’s geothermal heating and cooling system.

The town decided at council to agree with Data Cloud Networks of Hearst to build a new program to control the systems within the centre.

Council first agreed in September of last year to repair their geothermal heating and cooling and also increase its efficiency through repairs.

Mayor Roger Sigouin says the system had cost them over $15,219 in the past five years, and the total project cost was first estimated in September to be roughly $10,000.

An administrative report at council stated that repairs made in September to piping had resulted in no issues since, but further repairs are still to come.
