NOSDA Appoint First Ever Executive Director

The NOSDA have appointed its first ever Executive Director.

Nick Stewart was announced as the Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association’s Executive Director by Chair of NOSDA Ian Angus.

Angus says the creation of the position is to help the organization better coordinate human services across Northern Ontario.

He says they are exceptionally pleased that Stewart has agreed to take on the role.

Stewart comes to the NOSDA from the Timmins Chamber of Commerce after serving for eight years as Manager of Policy, Research and Communications, overseeing advocacy for a number of Northern issues.

Angus says Stewart has a track record of success, including Staff Person of the Year with the Chamber of Commerce Executive of Canada and a leadership award from Northern Ontario Business.

He also says his knowledge in management, advocacy, and policy development will be an asset to help the NOSDA plan and strategize to meet the future needs of Northern communities.
