The Prime Minister was in town today.
Justin Trudeau visited Kapuskasing as part of his tour of the region.
He stopped by at L’Ecole Secondaire Catholique Cite des Jeunes around 11:30am this morning.
Trudeau was present to visit with students at the school and will also take the time to make some remarks as well regarding many different topics, stretching from Francophone affairs, to gun violence, the Kashechewan evacuations and more.
A spokesperson for the Prime Minister says he is taking this opportunity to try and reach each and every community, which was his goal with this tour.
Trudeau followed his meeting with students and staff at the school with a visit to local paper mill Rayonier Advanced Materials before heading off to Timmins for a barbecue.
