DSB ONE Excited For New School Year

One school board is showing early excitement in welcoming the return of its students.

District School Board Ontario North East’s elementary and secondary schools will be re-opening next Wednesday, September 5th, but Director of Education Lesleigh Dye says they are already welcoming new and returning students for the 2018-19 school year.

Dye says staff will be in schools beginning today throughout the week, and that she is excited for the coming school year and the engaging and innovative opportunities ahead.

She says a lot of work behind the scenes has taken place this summer to prepare for the year, including the implementation of their new strategic plan this fall.
