Kapuskasing residents will have the opportunity to do a safety check-up on their car seats.
Porcupine Health Unit Public Health Nurse Melissa Stewart says the clinic’s goal is to ensure car seats are installed safely for all families in the community.
Stewart says often times seats are not installed correctly, which is the reason for the clinic.
Stewart also says should bring your vehicle and car seat manual if you can, but they are not a must.

She says you could win a new emergency auto kit just for stopping in to have your car seat inspected.
The free drop-in car seat inspections will take place rain or shine at the Kapuskasing Fire Hall on Thursday, September 6th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
