Marquette Street in Kapuskasing will be getting a little makeover.
Council has decided to move forward with the paving of one of their local streets.
CAO Guylain Baril says the town’s Long-Term Infrastructure Sustainability Program identified Marquette as in need of resurfacing.
Baril says there will be no digging however, just grinding and recovering.

He says the residents of Marquette agree it needs some work.
Villeneuve Construction has been handed the contract on an agreement of $154,168 plus HST.
There is no official timeline yet for the project, but Baril hopes to see things done over the next few months.
