Expect to see police monitoring the roads this weekend.
The James Bay Detachments of the OPP says with lots of people hitting the roads for the long weekend, police will be on the lookout for bad driving habits.
Provincial Constable Stephanie Belec says these include speeding, distracted driving and wearing your seat belt.
Belec says if you are heading out of town, you should check the roads and highways and plan your trip accordingly.
She also says police will be making sure everyone gets to their vacation spots and back home safely.
