Things will hopefully become safer as they become brighter.
The town of Hearst is installing a new set of traffic lights at the intersection of Front Street and 15th Street today.
Crews will be on scene to make the change today, weather permitting.
Director of Public Works and Engineering Services Luc Leonard says things should be finished by roughly noon with the installation if all goes according to plan.
Leonard also says there are no closures or detours around the intersection due to the ongoing work, but traffic control is in place.
