Collin Family Passing Through On Journey For Cancer

Today a group from Rimouski will pass through Kapuskasing on their cycle for cancer.

The Collin family, who are from Rimouski, Quebec began their adventure from Vancouver on June 24th to bike 4,800 kilometres to the tip of the Peninsula in the memory of their father and their cousin who lost their lives to pancreatic cancer.

The group says the 4,800 kilometre ride represents the 4,800 lives lost to cancer in the year 2017.

Their first half of the journey will see money raised for the Canadian Cancer Society and the second part for the Association du Cancer de L’Est du Quebec.
