Harty Park has seen a slew of new equipment added to its playground.
Val Rita-Harty Mayor Johanne Baril says the new additions, completed as of this week, will bring a new breath of fresh air and fun to the Harty Park playground.
Baril says there were two main reasons as well for the change, safety and attracting residents.
She says a big thank you goes to Public Works and Foreman Stefan Landry for the time and effort during the process.
Overall the cost of the playground upgrades was just over $15,000, with the playground equipment costing $12,000 and the landscape work to re-configure the park costing just over $3,000.
