The applications are coming in fast as the municipal elections in Kapuskasing near.
With just two weeks until the deadline officially is reached for applications, the municipal elections have seen another confirmed candidate for Mayor, as well as two further candidates for councillor positions.
Longtime Moonbeam resident Gilbert Peters has become the third candidate for the Mayoral position as of this week, joining Vic Fournel and current councillor Dave Plourde in the running.
As well, three further councillor candidates have come forward in Bob Daggett, Joey Fortier and current councillor Rick LaFleur and one more school board trustee candidate in Cindy Reasbeck for Zone G Smooth Rock Falls to Hearst.
