The current Mayor of Hearst has put his name into the running to retain his position come October.
Roger Sigouin has made himself the first unofficial candidate for the Mayoral position in Hearst.
Sigouin, currently Mayor of Hearst since stepping into the role in 2002, will be up for re-election for his fifth term.
Over the past week another school board trustee candidate has come forward in Chantal Couture Rancourt for Zone H Hearst to Mattice-Val Cote.
As well, the candidates for a councillor position have doubled from three to six as newly added are Conrad Morin, Marc Ringuette and Josee Vachon.
