Those interested in running during the municipal elections can now receive an overview of the process.
The Kapuskasing and District Chamber of Commerce announced that Wednesday afternoon at Papa Franco’s Hall they will host a 2018 Municipal Elections rundown.
Hosted by Town of Kapuskasing Clerk Chantal Guillemette, the meeting will cover different topics such as; roles and responsibilities of a member of council or staff; the nomination process and campaigning rules.
The meeting will also cover what types of committees and meetings a member of council or staff would need to attend and also any important dates to remember leading up to the elections.
