The OPP say Highway 11 is also completely open in all directions. Update at 1:13pm July 2nd There is now one lane opened. Traffic is alternating directions. Update at 9:30am July 2nd Hwy is once again closed to all traffic as crews are working on the last downed poll. Estimated time is between 12-1 PM Update at 10:46pm July 1st The OPP will be letting small vehicles through. However, no big commercial traffic will be allowed due to their height. The OPP are waiting on hydro crews to get on site with proper equipment to deal with the downed wires. Original Story July 1st There are live wires that have been downed on the bridge just past Casey’s. HydroOne said it will be at least midnight before anything gets restored. Because of this, Hwy 11 is closed both Eastbound and Westbound at the Kap bridge between Kapuskasing and Hearst until further notice. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
