The OPP will be out in full force as people start celebrating the Canada Day long weekend.
The provincial force says long weekends are normally when the most highway deaths and injuries take place.
They hope to reduce that by implementing the Big 4.
OPP will be watching for speedy and impaired drivers and also looking inside vehicles to see who is and who is not wearing a seatbelt.
The last of the Big 4 is distracted driving, a habit that’s resulted in numerous collisions on highways over the last few years.
