The Ron Morel Memorial Museum in Kapuskasing has a mystery on its hands.

Someone has given the museum a photograph that shows a 10-year-old girl photographed in 1938.

What makes the photo unique is the Timmins antique dealer who sold it claims it was taken in Kapuskasing.

However the museum doubts this because the background doesn’t correspond to the local terrain.

The museum says the girl would be 90 years old today and wants to reunite her with the photo if she’s still alive.

If members of the public recognize the girl, they’re asked to call the museum at 337-4474 or send an email to museum@kapuskasing.ca
