Northern College is changing partners with its Underground Hard Rock mining program.

The college’s new partner will be Tahoe Canada after November 23rd.

That’s when the last intake of students is scheduled to end under current partner Glencore Kidd Operations.

The program provides practical and hands-on knowledge for what’s involved in becoming an underground miner.

Glencore signed on with Northern to be a partner in the program in 2016.
