An end of an era in Kapuskasing.
The Financial Post reported Tuesday that their parent company Post Media has announced more newspaper closures.
This one hits home. TheĀ Kapuskasing Northern Times will be shutdown, while the Northern News in Kirkland Lake will be reduced to a once weekly paper.
Post Media is reportedly targeting a 10% reduction in salaries by the end of their fiscal year in August.
