The Kapuskasing Public Library is growing its membership in a unique way.
For every person who signs up to become a member, the library will give the person a sweet pepper at no charge.
The library says people care for the plant in the weeks ahead and later when it’s ready, the pepper can be eaten.
People need to register to qualify for a free pepper by calling the library at 335-3363.
The plants are available for pick-up this week.
