Support Shown At Hair-O-Thon 2018 ‘Much Appreciated’

The selflessness of Kapuskasing was on display for one of its own.

According to Steve Ianni-Palarchio, Father of Jocelyn Phillips, the response from the community during the 2018 Hair-O-Thon in support of his daughter’s battle with a brain tumor will not be forgotten.

Ianni-Palarchio says fundraisers have such amazing support from the entire community in Kapuskasing that it is truly an overwhelming feeling.

He says his daughter’s battle with a brain tumor has been a longstanding one.

Ianni-Palarchio says they look forward as a family to giving back to the community at this event and others to show their gratitude.

He says Jocelyn is very touched by those who have taken time out of their lives to help her in her fight.

Organizer of the event Meerielle Dubosq from Les Evenements sans Frontieres says the total fundraised by the event this year was $3344.
