Large materials are not to be placed curbside for garbage collection.
That’s according to a town of Kapuskasing public notice which reminds residents not to throw certain materials curbside for pickup.
These materials include: electronics such as TV’s and computers, tires and automotive parts, construction or demolition materials such as shingles and drywall and any large articles such as barbecues and mattresses.
The town reminds you that all of these items can instead be brought to the landfill and disposed of properly.
The hours of operation for the Landfill are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm.
