Kapuskasing is reminding residents of the need to place your garbage and recycling bins properly.
Public Works Clerk Marie-Josee Payant says a message has gone out from the town to residents who are living on specific streets regarding the proper process of placing their bins.
Payant says only residents living in specific areas have received the letter.
She says they would like those who have been contacted to follow the instructions to improve safety this summer.

Payant also says during the winter it is a major help to snow removal.
The guidelines are to be followed for the winter placement beginning October 31st and running through to next April 1st.
