Hearst Asks Residents To Remain Off Municipal Property With Motorized Vehicles

Hearst is asking its residents to remain off municipal properties with their motorized vehicles.

The town in a statement online has asked community members to refrain from using their motorized vehicles on municipal properties following a complaint regarding Louisbourg Park.

The statement asks riders to avoid the municipal parks, hiking trails, bike paths, cemeteries or lagoons.

Certain properties such as Notre-Dame Hospital, Foyer des Pionniers Nursing Home, College Boreal and Universite de Hearst are also not to be driven upon.

The town states that the use of motorized vehicles within these areas is prohibited for safety reasons.
