Former Olympic Gold Medallist Turned Police Officer To Speak In Hearst

Hearst will welcome a former Olympic Gold medallist turned police officer to their town this Sunday.

Member of Montreal Police Service and former Canadian Olympic Women’s Hockey Coach and Gold Medal winner in 2002 Daniele Sauvageau, will be speaking at the gymnasium of Ecole Secondaire Catholique de Hearst about hockey and life.

CINN-FM Radio Host Guy Morin helped organize the conference and says Sauvageau has a lot of different life experiences to share.

Morin says he got the idea to invite her after seeing her appear last year in Kapuskasing.

He says Sauvageau doesn’t have an intended audience; she just adjusts to those present.

The conference takes place Sunday, May 27th at 7:00pm and tickets cost $10.
