As May long weekend approaches, provincial parks are opening up for visitors.
Included in this group is Rene Brunelle Provincial Park located near Kapuskasing.
The park will be open Friday through Monday for camping as well as activities to be had out on the water.
Ontario Parks Superintendent Kevin Wilson could not be reached for comment, but the park has announced online it will be open for visitation.
The website details that car camping and group camping will be available as well as indoor accommodation all long weekend.
