There is a new campaign underway in Hearst that is looking to clean things up around town.
The 2018 Pitch In operation is sponsored by the municipality and is looking for residents to help in the collection of garbage within the community.
The town announced on Facebook that the contest will include a photo portion.
In order to participate, you must submit a picture of you or your group cleaning around town, as well as the garbage you have collected in the approved bags for the event.

Each photo submitted under the rules has a chance at winning a $100 gift certificate from a local business.
The campaign runs until June 15th at midnight.
