Cinderella’s Closet once again was full.
The Kapuskasing youth project, put on for a fourth consecutive year by Abundant Life Christian Fellowship’s Girls from Rooted Youth Ministry, saw 35 dresses total donated this year.
Organizer Sarah Coombs says once again the response for donations regarding dresses, shoes and jewelry was amazing.
She says along with donations remaining from previous years, there were over 100 dresses for girls to choose from.
Coombs also says new this year was a contest to win free hairstyling at Euphoria and a graduation or prom night photoshoot with a local photographer.
She also says 10 girls came in to pick up a free graduation dress and she expects more will go out over the next few weeks as graduations creep closer.
Coombs says dresses are no longer on display but families that missed Cinderella’s closet at the Model City Mall can call her to obtain one at this number 705-335-2107.
