Smooth Rock Falls will look to make their visiting evacuees feel a little more at home.
With 139 evacuees having made their way to Smooth Rock Falls this past Thursday, the town has decided to try and make these visitors feel more at home.
In doing so, the town of Smooth Rock Falls has announced over their Facebook page that this Sunday afternoon they will host a Pow Wow.
The town has announced that this Pow Wow will be a special occasion type of event for people to come out and meet the guests from the Kashechewan First Nation.
The event begins at 1:00pm on Sunday behind the Legion and all are welcome to attend the free event.
