May is the month for building safety in Kapuskasing.
According to a town statement online, the month of May has been designated as Building Safety Month by the Ontario Building Officials Association.
The town of Kapuskasing wants to use the opportunity to remind all homeowners and builders that permits ensure communities are safe for everyone to live, work and enjoy.
The town states that by building to code, the community is ensuring safer living for future generations.
