Kapuskasing council may be undergoing some changes to the structure of their meetings.

Finance Chair Dave Plourde says at a Special Council meeting Monday, he proposed to his fellow council members a new structure for their meetings.

Plourde says that he proposes that they remove Standing Committee meetings.

He also says the biggest gain for all involved would be an improvement to communication.

Plourde says he gave three options as to which council could be restructured, and says in his opinion, he wants to see the second option put to use.

He says by restructuring council it will help to simplify their current process.

At this time, council has yet to make any decision regarding the proposal.
