The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities will host a debate between Ontario’s political party leaders.
FONOM, alongside the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association announced Premier Kathleen Wynne, PC Leader Doug Ford and NDP Leader Andrea Horvath will debate in Parry Sound this Friday.
FONOM President Alan Spacek says the debate will finish off FONOM’s annual conference which begins tomorrow.
Spacek says this year’s theme is ‘Leading the Way Through Innovation’.
He says the focus of the debate, will circle around Northern Ontario.
Spacek, who will be the moderator of the debate, says to keep it fair he will not know the questions until an hour prior.

Spacek says overall, they are looking forward to another successful conference with hopefully a lot to offer in terms of best practices when it comes to running a municipality.
The debate is scheduled for Friday, May 11 at 11:30am as the finale to FONOM’s annual conference.
