This week the CNIB Eye Van will make its return to Kapuskasing.

This is the 46th year which the service has been made available to the community.

CNIB Manager of Medical Mobile Eye Care Program Lisa O’Bonsawin says they are here to provide the community a chance to learn more about vision issues such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.

O’Bonsawin says they are able to also teach residents more about diabetes thanks to their Diabetes Education Team.

The eye van will be parked at the Centre de Sante Communautaire at 27 Kolb Avenue from May 2nd through 25th.
