Kapuskasing’s Demonstration Farm is in need of a new tenant in order to remain up and running.
According to Kapuskasing CAO Guylain Baril, former tenant Andrew Gordanier handed in an early termination notice last Monday.
Baril says the former tenant has left with two years remaining on a five year lease which is definitely disappointing.
He says due to the early leave, they are now looking for a replacement to fulfill the remaining lease.

Baril also mentions that council has been discussing the matter and will further discuss at the next joint committees of the whole and council meeting Monday, May 14th.
The Demonstration Farm is also home to livestock for local area companies such as Kapuskasing Meats and Fromagerie Kapuskoise.
